Identifying Your Joiner
Joiner ID
Factors that affect joiner design:
A nameplate is located on the operator side of the strip joiner.
This nameplate shows the:
- - Model number
- - Serial number
- - Design incoming voltage
- - Motor amperage
- - Electrical phase
Both the upper and lower dies have a stamped four-digit number
Reference the attached strip joiner naming convention document for an explanation of the model number

Maintaining Your Behlen Joiner
Behlen can help you keep your equipment running year after year. We have complete records and drawings of every Behlen strip joiner built. We can provide parts and service to keep your joiner operating in "like new" condition.

The following is a non-exclusive list of what Behlen can do to restore your die.
- Provide estimates to restore your die
- Sharpen die punches
- Replace die punches
- Replace punch inserts
- Replace stripper plugs
- Replace or straighten strippers
- Replace spacers
- Re-gage die clearances
